I aim to help students build a personal and lifelong relationship to music.   

       I am an artist, performer, and musician from Los Angeles, CA. I use they/them pronouns, and identify as nonbinary!

       I have over eight years of educator experience, and have taught privately and at School of Rock (LA and NYC), Interplay LA, and SoCal Arts Program. As a vocalist and instrumentalist, I toured professionally for two years with indie artist Claud, opening for artists like Paramore and Phoebe Bridgers. I trained at NYU Tisch with Machan Taylor and at Voice Lab LA with voice specialist Amy Chapman. I love to help kids and adults find the ways in which music fits into their lives, whether professionally, or just as a form of creative expression.

      With adults, I incorporate a lab-style atmosphere, based on the individual's music taste and goals.

       For kids, I focus on basic music theory, paired with basic music history and ear-training. I encourage kids to have fun with music, through games, songwriting, and learning their favorite music! I've experienced the limitations of classical and traditional training, which is often stifling, and I aim to create a supportive, encouraging space attuned to each student's needs.
