I aim to help students build a personal and lifelong relationship to music.   ​       

I am a singer, musician, actor, writer, and teaching artist from Los Angeles, CA. I use they/them pronouns! With over nine years of educator experience, I have taught privately for six years, and at School of Rock (LA and NYC), Interplay LA, ArTES Arts High School, Campbell Hall High School, and SoCal Arts. As a singer, bassist, and keyboardist, I have toured professionally with indie artist Claud, opening for artists like Paramore and Phoebe Bridgers. As a singer and actor, I have performed at theaters such as Rubicon Theatre, the Actors' Gang, and in various film, commercial, and television projects. I trained in acting and vocal performance at NYU Tisch Drama with Machan Taylor and Voice Lab LA with voice specialist Amy Chapman. I've played piano for 20 years, and bass for 15 years. I love to help both adults and kids find the ways in which singing fits into their lives, whether professionally, or just as a form of creative expression.​

I incorporate a lab-style atmosphere, based on the individual's music taste and goals. Vocally, I focus on somatic technique, with an emphasis on vocal health, creative expression, basic music theory, and ear-training. For piano, I teach basic theory and technique, comping chords, chord voicings, and ear training.

I create a supportive, encouraging space attuned to each student's unique needs.
